Casa Caracol Cancellation Policy
We recognise there is a level of trust on our guest’s part in paying us in advance for our accommodation services. In return we guarantee your reservation and uphold it over any later enquiries. As many of our bookings are months in advance and cancellations often just weeks, it can often mean we can't rebook the house which will result in a loss of payment.
We strongly recommend Travel Insurance to cover such possibilities which can also cover you for additional costs such as flight reimbursement, medical costs, lost luggage etc.
We strive to avoid penalisation and where a cancellation is beyond a guest’s control we do our best to offer a credit towards future accommodation depending on availability. When applicable our cancellation payment structure is:
Up to 31 days prior to arrival ~ No monies
32 to 45 days prior to arrival ~ 50% of total refunded
46 to 60 days prior to arrival ~ No deposit refunded
More than 60 days prior to arrival ~ All monies refunded
Please note that all refunds will have banking/merchant fees deducted. These can vary but are typically 5%.
Our payment and cancellation policy is held on record by the Belize Tourist Board who are the Government Agency we are licensed through. They afford both parties protection and will mediate any dispute and/or listen to complaints.
